About KADS
Consultant‑Led Autism & ADHD Assessments
About KADS
KADS is a private, consultant‑led neurodevelopmental service specialising in autism and ADHD assessments for individuals and families operating in complex, high‑responsibility environments.
Our work is grounded in clinical rigour, thoughtful pacing, and discretion — supporting clarity without unnecessary exposure or pressure.
Clinical Leadership
KADS is led by an Autism Consultant Nurse with a rich multidisciplinary team- of psychiatry, occupational therapy, dieticians, and nursing.
The team have specialist expertise in autism, ADHD, and complex neurodevelopmental profiles, including presentations shaped by masking, high functioning, or co‑existing conditions such as PDA.
The team have contributed to national guidance and service development, and are trusted by families navigating high‑stakes personal and professional contexts.
This depth of experience informs every aspect of KADS — from assessment approach to clinical boundaries and ethical standards.
Consultant‑Led Neurodevelopmental Care
KADS was established to provide an alternative to volume‑driven assessment models.
We work with individuals and families who require careful clinical judgement, senior oversight, and a nuanced understanding of complexity — whether due to subtle presentation, co‑occurring diagnoses, high achievement, or previous inconclusive assessments.
All work is led or overseen by a senior Consultant Nurse.
Clinical responsibility and decision‑making are never delegated away from senior level.
Our Philosophy
Neurodevelopmental assessment requires more than tools and criteria.
At KADS, we believe high‑quality assessment depends on:
Time and attentiveness
Senior clinical judgement
Respect for lived experience
Clarity of purpose and boundaries
We work carefully and precisely, valuing understanding over haste and quality over volume.
This is deliberate, considered care.
Who We Work With
We work with:
Families seeking clarity for children or adolescents without unnecessary system exposure
Adults exploring neurodevelopmental understanding later in life
Entrepreneurs, leaders, and individuals in highly visible or high‑responsibility roles
Families for whom discretion, reputation, and long‑term planning matter
If KADS is not the right service for a particular situation, this is communicated early and transparently.
Discretion & Integrity
Discretion is foundational to how KADS operates.
We are accustomed to working where visibility, public perception, or professional reputation require additional care.
Information is shared sparingly, systems are engaged only where clinically appropriate, and all enquiries are handled personally.
Our Commitment
KADS exists to provide clarity that is clinically sound, ethically grounded, and appropriately paced.
We do not promise certainty where it cannot ethically be given.
We do not compress complexity for convenience.
We do not operate open‑ended or volume‑based care.
When we work with an individual or family, it is because the fit is right.
Next Step
If you are considering whether KADS may be appropriate for your circumstances, the next step is a Private Consultation.
This allows suitability, scope, and expectations to be explored before any further engagement.
